alan.y Posted May 13, 2014 Share #63 Â Posted May 13, 2014 In no small part because they're so well built and so easy to "de-click" for videography.
Jeffg53 Posted May 13, 2014 Share #64 Â Posted May 13, 2014 Videography seems to be one of the price drivers. There are some bargains still. My 1977 50 Cron is an excellent lense for which I paid $A500 plus Leitax adapter cost.

jip Posted May 14, 2014 Share #66 Â Posted May 14, 2014 Just bought a 80mm summilux for R8 use and M240. Can't wait to give it a try, wish I bought it two years ago though. lot cheaper.
alan.y Posted June 2, 2014 Share #67 Â Posted June 2, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Congrats! The lux 80 is beautiful in every way. Â I bought a lux m 75 expecting the same experience but no. Image may be similar but ergonomics and feel are very different. The 80 remains the only lens I actually enjoy just holding and touching. Sounds funny but it's true.
a911s Posted June 2, 2014 Share #68  Posted June 2, 2014 Can you point us to where we can see the output from this please? That would be very interesting. Any rolling shutter problems? Thanks.  This was filmed with a Canon 5d Mk III and R lenses: 35mm f2 mk 2, 50mm f2 mk 2, and 80mm 1.4. No problems.
MerijnvZ Posted July 3, 2014 Share #69 Â Posted July 3, 2014 Now working with a Nikon D7000 & Summicron-R 1:2/35 & 90mm and I have been in heaven... I just love the way they render, classical Mandler-look to them but still not in their optimal use: Full Frame... I am so pulled to M8 with some new Leica lenses but something like Df with my own lenses would be awsome too I guess. A7 and the like just makes me seperated from the subject: I really hate the viewfinder though focussing works like a charm. How spoiled I am...
