jaay Posted July 16, 2009 Share #21 Posted July 16, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Always a tricky choice. personally i went for a 28 cron and a 50 lux (i got each for less than £2k new) and then added a CV15 for those odd occasions when i want an ultra-wide. The 28 and 50 will also be great on a future full frame M too. As far as i see it by investing in the top lenses now i will only change the camera body in the future. If you need an interim lens as a single lens solution get a second hand 35 summarit (try this forums ads) - you get modern Leica optics for a good price and f2.5 isn't exactly slow! Future full frame M... indeed a good point! CV15+28cron+50lux+Full Frame M9 down the road sounded so nice! After reviewing more threads and samples I guess this is really a very personal choice... 28+50, 24+35, 35+50, cron/lux/elmar.... time to stop pondering and start buying!!
