leicamann Posted November 13, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 13, 2006 Colrs are great but the composition is too stable , too static. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicmann
mhanke Posted November 13, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted November 13, 2006 Colrs are great but the composition is too stable , too static. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicmann I agree with you on the latter. I was uncertain about it when I shot the pic, even when I scanned it, but sometimes, one needs the opinion from others to be sure. Thanks! Regards, Marcus
squiff Posted November 14, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 14, 2006 its got that "kodachromesque" look, like when you pull an old slide out of a box after 30 years.... s
mhanke Posted November 14, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 14, 2006 its got that "kodachromesque" look, like when you pull an old slide out of a box after 30 years....s INdeed, on my non-calibrated screenin the office the pic looks rather "whitish", without the contrast and saturation that is present in the slide and visible on my home screen. I have still a long way to go regarding good scanning, and I suspect I will have switched to the M8 long before I really master this ... azzo Posted November 14, 2006 Share #7 Posted November 14, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) BUT Marcus, i'd keep the M6 also, if i were you. It still is a very good camera IMHO. Best Azzo

Best Azzo You are of course right, and I will definitely keep the M6 as long as slide film is available. And I also have a new MP, which, unfortunately, has to make a trip to the Leica service, which is the reason why I did not use it during my trip through Spain. Chaipaval Posted November 15, 2006 Share #10 Posted November 15, 2006 Looks like a pretty boring quarry - does nothing for me. Picture quality is good but so it should be with Leica. Aragon is a fantastic region - suggest you walk further from your car in future. Harry
