Colrs are great but the composition is too stable , too static.

I agree with you on the latter. I was uncertain about it when I shot the pic, even when I scanned it, but sometimes, one needs the opinion from others to be sure. Thanks!

its got that "kodachromesque" look, like when you pull an old slide out of a box after 30 years....

INdeed, on my non-calibrated screenin the office the pic looks rather "whitish", without the contrast and saturation that is present in the slide and visible on my home screen. I have still a long way to go regarding good scanning, and I suspect I will have switched to the M8 long before I really master this ...

BUT Marcus, i'd keep the M6 also, if i were you. It still is a very good camera IMHO.

You are of course right, and I will definitely keep the M6 as long as slide film is available. And I also have a new MP, which, unfortunately, has to make a trip to the Leica service, which is the reason why I did not use it during my trip through Spain.
