Zombie Posted July 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm experiencing problems with a SanDisk 4GB SD ultrafast card in my DL4. " Card error. Card parameter error ( or Wrong card parameter)" or "Card error. Check card" is shown. It seems to reach 30 MB, then stop (that's the number I get when I try reformatting it). Any hints? doubice Posted July 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 14, 2009 Are you certain that it is a genuine SanDisk card? Unfortunately, there are many fakes on the market. Just a thought..... Best, Jan
Zombie Posted July 14, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted July 14, 2009 Geunine as I got it from a reputable dealer. It started making problems after a while.
doubice Posted July 15, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 15, 2009 Did you try formatting with your computer first and than in the camera? If that does not work, you may have a bad card - if I recall correctly, don't SanDisk cards have a lifetime warranty? Best, Jan
Zombie Posted July 15, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted July 15, 2009 Can't format anywhere. Bought a new card. I'll check the warranty situation.
mishima Posted July 19, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 19, 2009 Zombie, Try bring the card to the shop where u purchase it. Get one additional card from them and test it out immediately on your camera. If it works, its definately some fault on the card and you can return them. I had the similar problem with a friend of mine before, and this is what we did. The shop owner changed it (1 to 1) free for us.
