E-Clypse MAG, a THUMBS UP!

What a coincidence, I just bought the 34 E-Clypse from Tim last night. I have the 1.4x, which is great with the 90 and 50, but I was told the cup will make focusing easier. Is it usable with a 35?

Since I wear glasses it might be bit harder for me. You might have to move your

eye around to see the 35 frame. For my 28 I had to remove it.

Tim also produces a .85 magnifier for use with wider lenses...and in 2 diameter options, as with the 1.25 mag. This should make the view on an M8.2 similar to using a .58 viewfinder on an M7 (.68 x .85 = .58). The smaller 34 cup is not only more narrow, but somewhat deeper than the 42 cup for better light screening.

I haven't tried any of these, but did email Tim and briefly spoke with Tony Rose about them. I own the Leica 1.25, but dislike the poor rubber "o-ring" for eyeglass protection. David Farkas also carries them...either Tony or David could answer other questions.
