kenneth Posted July 6, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 6, 2009 Welcome and a CL user to boot. I am convinced that the Leica CL with it's 40mm lens has to be one of the best cameras ever if simplicity, discreteness and usability are in the equasion

brianv Posted July 6, 2009 Share #7 Posted July 6, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Welcome aboard! Nice outfit. I came close to selling my Canon 35/2.8, but realized how nicely it went with the CL. So I shipped off the Canon 35/1.8 instead. No complaints from the recipient about the "Switch!" The Canon 50/1.5 also fits in its pouch case.
hermannhkg Posted July 7, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted July 7, 2009 Welcome aboard! Nice outfit. I came close to selling my Canon 35/2.8, but realized how nicely it went with the CL. Thanks Brian, The Canon 35mm 2.8 is a little gem by itself, sharp, good color rendition and not too contrasty. This one with a Canon 100mm f4 is left over from the sales of my Canon 7 collection. The camera was sold with the 50mm f0.95 for quite a sum a few years back. Regards, Hermann
