roguewave Posted June 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question, so forgive me in advance if I have transgressed. Has any one been able to share a scanner over a network. I have an Epson V700 which I would like to share with another machine on my network. I have a mix of Microsoft & Apple computers. Do either operating systems permit the sharing of this kind of device. I search the net & Epson's site with no luck. Thanks.

dcuthbert Posted June 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 25, 2009 You won't be able to share the scanner directly, but you can set up a shared machine, connected to the scanner and then connect into that machine using remote desktop from the windows machine or apple. viola, shared networking scanner
