Hello,

I was looking for some information about using a lamp on my Enlarger, a diffusion enlarger.

I have two options but I don' t know which is the best and what are the differences between the two lamps:

HLX 12 V 100W

ELC 24 V 250W

Is one better than the other one? Why? What are the differences?

Thanks for any help.

As you say you can use both, guess the main difference is in the lamp power: 100W vs 250W is not a small one.

I'd go for the 250W one unless the printing times become too short to deal by hand, i.e. zone masking is easier with longer times.

What was the power of your previous lamp? What are the average times for the paper size you use most?
