Camera was not top in the list in the subcompact category though. Price was probably a factor in this category. Their recommended buys where the Nikon S610 and the Canon SD1100 IS Elph. No mention of the D-LUX 4 or the M8.2 in other categories. On a related note to the D-LUX 4, they listed Panasonic cameras as having the fewest repairs for digital cameras based on their data. I used to love Canon PowerShots and Elphs until I tried to use them for something more serious than web pictures. They are toys. I don't find the note about the Panasonics surprising. I'll bet their owners baby them like many of us with our Leicas and high-end DSLRs. Who wants to wait 2 months to have their camera repaired? Seeing ebay's current bids on the Panasonic LX3 scares me. It's already gone into some kind of collector status since the going prices are higher than what people paid for them.
