PhotoArchival Posted November 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) It was overcast this day, but I didn't mind nor did the camera. Any comments or suggestions? I thought about cropping the 1st shot just above the brick wall... Thanks for looking.

brunom Posted November 8, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 8, 2006 Amado Cropping just above the wall and just at the end of the wall on the right gives an interesting portrait ? Bruno
azzo Posted November 8, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 8, 2006 I like the 1st as is 'cos it's nicely framed by the upper leaves and would work even nicer in B&W, IMHO. But i also agree with Bruno's suggestion, leaving this crop in color. This image works well in both ways Amado. Best Azzo
jim_royer Posted November 8, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 8, 2006 I, on the other hand, like the second shot better. To me, the composition is more interesting. Just my own opinion. Jim
robert_parker Posted November 8, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 8, 2006 Amado I like both of these - I think if I were to crop the first, I'd crop a little higher than you suggest, to include some sky - maybe at the lowest point that what looks like a window of a building shows from behing the trees - it would keep a good proportion to the image, too. I really like the second, apart from one detail, which is the end of the handbag, which I find destracting. Congratulations on both - looking forward to seeing some more
PhotoArchival Posted November 9, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 9, 2006 Bruno--Thanks for the crop suggestion! Don't know why I didn't think of it. Azzo--I will try it B&W, thank you. Jim--Thanks for your time and comment. Robert--Thanks for pointing out those building windows, never really saw it till you said. Also, I agree that the handbag is a bit distracting.
