MPerson Posted May 31, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone used Harvey’s Panthermic “777” Developer? I am waiting to hear whether the Frugal Photographer will ship to the UK. If not I may get the ingredients and mix it up myself!

fotohuis Posted May 31, 2009 Share #5 Posted May 31, 2009 777 is an ultra fine grain developer like: Microdol-X, Perceptol, CG512/RLS, Windisch W665. The finest grain you will get with Ortho Phenylene Diamine (W665) but in the process you have to clear the solarisation layer after the fixer process with Acetic Acid or Hydrochloric Acid. Here an example in W665 with Rollei Pan 25. Grain: Neglectible and invisible.
