ron110n Posted November 5, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Senatus Populus Que Romanus (SPQR) Tarragona or Tarragonesis at the time of the Roman Era was the capital of Spain. The 9th Legion of the Roman Centurians were the Spaniards. The same army that faced Atilla the Hun and Hanibal. I took the city bus to get here, but I found this by accident. My original intension was to see the Ramblas of Tarragona. This location is a 20 min walk from the Transports Publics right at the end of the Ramblas by the sea. Catalan is the medium in this city, but the local will gladly speak Castillo for directions. It is only me and one aunite who speaks Spanish in our group. Thanks to my Mexican colleagues who sharpened my spanish all those years working with them. I thought of renting a car... but do I know where to go? The City Bus and Tour bus is the best bet to go around. =) LX1 Cheers! -Ron
