geoffmalter Posted May 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is the size of the image sensor, and its ratio (lower the better, due to "crowding") to the overall MP of a camera, important to the quality of pics? For example, the specs for the DL4 has a ratio of 6.84 (1.65" sensor size to overall 11.3 MP CCD) vs. the CL3's ratio of 4.592 (2.33" sensor size to overall 10.7MP CCD).
