Riley Posted November 3, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) the recommended adapter for Digilux 2 is SCA 3502, and this is so for the Digilux 3, the L1 and various Olympus models. Yet the flash footprint on the hot shoe is different by 1 pin as shown below. Given the pinouts are different, why is the SCA 3502 the right module for D2 ? lars_bergquist Posted November 3, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 3, 2006 Hi Riley, because SCA 3502 is the name of a class of SCA adapters. They are made for various camera systems, including Leica M/R. Which one the Digilux 3 uses I don't know, but its flash shoe is clearly different. Is it a Panasonic type, or even an Olympus? God knows. Lars Bergquist, the old dog from the Age of Flashpowder
pascal_meheut Posted November 3, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 3, 2006 Maybe because the SCA adapter for the Digilux 3 and the Olympus camera is the 3202, not the 3502 ?

Lars Bergquist, the old dog from the Age of Flashpowder hi Lars yes its the Olympus type, apparently fitted to Panasonic FZ 50, and I would expect the V-Lux-1 as well Riley
