Cambrian Photography in Colwyn Bay (who are my local dealers) put on an annual photographic show and this year its on the 13th of this month (May). Leica UK will be there and it may be a good opportunity for forum members to meet up. The day runs from 9 'til 5 and I anticipate going along there at about 9.30ish (it can be busy). Is anyone else is interested in meeting up? I'm trying to find out whether any of the new lenses will be on display and will post again if I get any more info.

Yes its at Cambrian's shop (87-89 Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay). I've had a chat and they are trying to find out what Leica will bring along. If there is good interest here and I tell them I suspect that it might mean that there's a better chance of more, newer equipment being on display!

Just spoken to Cambrian who have confirmed that Leica will bring along the following lenses:

50/0.95, 21/1.4, 24/1.4, 18/3.8 and 24.3.8!

If enough people are interested then the training suite will be made available for us to have a meet up with the Leica people/person for a chat in the afternoon.

I'm told that it might be best to wait for midday to ensure that everyone has arrived from Leica - I'll go earlier and then get back early afternoon.

I spoke to Sarah at Cambrian yesterday. The 2010 show will be on 26th May and she said that Leica will attend. She also asked whether there are any other product areas which attendees would be interested in seeing, so if anyone has any suggestion please post them or contact Cambrian direct.
