PhotoArchival Posted November 3, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) These were taken on Monday night at Daley Plaza. They turn it to 'Pumpkin Plaza' during Halloween. They have face painting and pumpkin carvings and other activities for the little ones during the day. I dragged my wife to check it out and was surprised to see a performance by these young entertainers. I was worried these would turn out horribly considering it was cold and I was standing on a flowerpot with very slow shutter speeds handheld. Hope you enjoy them. pemayeux Posted November 3, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 3, 2006 I'm really surprised there have been no comments on this series. I find then quite interesting, and the technical execution is well done in my opinion. Nice series.

mathewm Posted November 5, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 5, 2006 I like them too. The crowd and skyline create an interesting vignette effect, almost like a mono recording of the event.

wda Posted November 5, 2006 Share #7 Posted November 5, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) These pictures look quite theatrical and you have caught the atmosphere very well in black and white. David
