PhilG Posted April 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a request for help/advice. I have just bought the D-Lux4 prior to a visit to Cornwall. When I visited St Ives, last year, I wasn't able to capture the magic of the special light there. What advice could anybody give me.

Guest Bernd Banken Posted April 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2009 Wake up very early, mind the hours in the middle and shoot until the sun is gone..... Here you'll find pics from Rainer Martini, a buddy from the Nikon forum in Germany. One of Germany's best sport photographer from the 70s up to now: Rainer Martini - Fotoseminare - Fotoreisen - Workshops Don't let your camera decide what should be the right exposure..... A tripod would be helpful..... Good luck! Bernd
Guest Essemmlee Posted April 23, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 23, 2009 Just to whet your appetite. These were taken last week in St Ives using my D-Lux 4. Not the most perfect light but the most perfect place.
