DavGreg Posted April 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone tried this device with a Lumix L1 or Digilux 3, specifically with the Leica D lens family? Does it work, does it support OIS and other electronic features of the D Lens, etc? Please share what you know about this. I have contacted Olympus and will post their reply if it is of any significance.

I have contacted Olympus and will post their reply if it is of any significance. I used it a few times on a D/3 with the "kit" lens and everything works as usual. The only actual difference in use is that the display shows a value of one f/stop closer than what you have set on the lens, which is according to the light loss you get by its use. As for results, unless you're using the top grade Oly lenses, I'd suggest to avoid using the lens to full aperture, but stop it down at least one value from it. In any case IMO contrast depends more on the lens you apply it to and mostly from the light conditions you happen to have than by using it by default. Hope this helps.
