IainHall Posted April 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Certainly not disappointed. I wanted a 'real' camera that was a lot smaller than Nikon SLR kit in my bag, and the DL4 absolutely fits the brief. I was expecting Capture One (until Aperture raw support arrives) - but find it isnt included - do I really have to buy it as an add on - which seems hugely expensive in the context of the DL4? Just got mine too and wowed by it so far Mine came with Capture One cd in the box so if it's not in there, time to call your dealer I think

IainHall Posted April 12, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted April 12, 2009 i got mine last week from a UK dealer, the cd rom was in the box.you need to call your dealer.did you buy it new from a dealer? Yes, from a dealer - the itemised contents on the box make no mention of capture one, or even a CD, so I am puzzled. I will call in on them on Tuesday and see if they have a copy left in the store room!
ken_tanaka Posted April 12, 2009 Share #7 Posted April 12, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) It looks like there's been a run on D-Lux 4 cameras! I bought one last Wednesday. Yes, Iain, Capture One version 4 WAS in the box. So if you bought a new camera you are definitely owed a copy.
USA road racer Posted April 13, 2009 Share #8 Posted April 13, 2009 Almost sounds like you purchases this camera from a "Less reputable dealer" on line! I had a similar experience where the dealer sent me a used camera & tried to pass it off as a new camera. The dealer also raided the box & took out almost everything of value he could sell on the side!! I have to admit, my credit card company was great and made the dealer give me a full refund & made him pay to return the camera to him. There is no free lunch or free camera unless you buy from Obama Photo Supply! LOL!!! I would question your dealer about the missing CD. Check out the factory packing list( the items that come with the camera) against what you received.
