There is one very well known dealer offering several prototype Leica lenses and note some have been reduced which suggests the original prices may have been on the high side. There are interesting significant prototypes and there are some not so interesting. Seems that even dealers have no real idea of their worth especially if collectors are not exactly queueing up to buy them ... so maybe worth negotiating a price if you want one. And provenance counts for a lot too ... ie helps if there is some proof that they were prototypes ... and maybe they remained prototypes because they did not perform well??
