kenneth Posted April 6, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I found this book for sale in HMV for £5.00 and can highly recommend it. The photographer is Douglas R Gilbert and he states that he was working on an assignment for Look Magazine and able to take intimate shots using a Leica rangefinder camera. The book includes photographs of Bob Dylan in his pre electric days with people like John Sebastian, Allen Ginsberg, Joan Baez and Rambling jack Elliot. I personally found the book a fascinating insight to a wonderful period when I was performing in the folk scene and had unique opportunities to meet many of these musicians. If unable to get a copy from HMV the ISBN 0-306-81481-1 Published by Da Capo Well worth seeking out

antistatic Posted April 6, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 6, 2009 Sounds good Kenneth. I watched No Direction Home again recently and I noticed Leicas being used at Dylan's concerts and press conference.
