I'm looking for a wireless remote shutter release for the D2...

I have an idea for some photos of an intersection (see below) that will require me to set up two cameras in stairwells ~250' apart and then fire them simultaneously so as to take synchronized photos. I assume something like this is commercially available these days and as I already have a D2 and an LC1 available (I presume I can tweak the images so they're close enough to identical if I shoot RAW), it will make my life quite a bit easier if I use them ... any suggestions?

1 sender and 2 receivers should do it

I have one for my E3, I think the range is 200ft, but you need to make sure of that

the transmitter would have to be midway between

it will fire through walls.

It sounds an interesting little gizmo....the website suggests amongst other things that it will provide a Bulb setting. I doubt thats possible with an LC1/D2 where the normal max exposure with the shutter button is 8 secs, But what do I know - anyone have any experience with it?

I'm aware of this device -- there are several eBay sellers who sell them -- but assumed its range was closer to the 15m listed (~50 feet), which is quite a bit less than the ~200-250 feet that I need. Still, it's inexpensive enough that it might be worth a try, especially as I will be able to position both cameras within line of sight of each other.

yeah im not sure about the range,

when i get a chance i shall make a test (dont be in a hurry im flat out with work), but conditions out here in the bush are vastly different from a city. I did read 200ft on ebay when i bought it, but sellers can say what they like i guess. There is this though...

"I later did a range test and was easily able to get 150+ feet away in direct line of site with no issue."
