netdog Posted April 1, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am going to be putting up my mint Digilux 3 (probably 1500 shutter actuations) as now that I have an M8, I really have no use for it. I've been looking at eBay, but these cameras don't appear much like the Digilux 2's, so I am really at a loss as to how to price it. New ones are listed on eBay for £1800. Mine comes with the original kit lens, also in mint condition, and the accessories and manual. No box. Would you sell the lens and body together? How on earth can I come up with a price that is competitive with the market, neither too low nor too high? I don't need to sell it quickly, so I am happy to float a price that might take a few weeks to sell. Any ideas? Anyone sold one of these recently? simon8202 Posted April 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 1, 2009 well, Ffordes had one for £750 ex demo for several weeks (body and lens) It's gone now but I would have thought £600-£700 would be about right for the kit. hope this helps Simon

DavGreg Posted April 18, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 18, 2009 IMHO, I think you would get more for the Lens and Body sold apart. The lens is widely sought after by 4/3rds users, many of whom buy the Lumix L1 and sell off the body. One never sees the Digilux 3 sold as a body alone and might well garner a good price. Lumix L1 bodies easily command $600 (US) if in mint condition and you know the lens is the truly high $ part. Please let me know if you choose to split the set as I am looking for a Digilux 3 body. leicadig3 Posted April 19, 2009 Share #5 Posted April 19, 2009 I bought a complete new kit, a couple of weeks ago, in Spain by € 1299. This is the better price that I found by a "new" camera. www.casanovafoto.com Before I buy it, I was seeing the prices of the "used cameras" on eBay. The prices were more or less between 1100 and 1400 euros. I imagine that outside of Spain the price of new kit will also be down, so I think is good that you sell your camera before the prices fall massively. Best regards.
