Hibbing1 Posted March 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 28, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am new to the forum and this is my first post: I appreciate the insightful postings on this site and was wondering what the consensus is between the Leica Viewfinder and the Leica flash for the D-Lux 4. Does anyone find them essential or are they expensive gadgets that one works around without any difficulty. Thanks.
Advertisement Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Hi Hibbing1, Take a look here D-Lux 4: Viewfinder or Flash? Looking for Consensus . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jeff Mungar Posted March 30, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 30, 2009 i too am new to this forum and to the D-Lux 4. very happy so far with the pictures. for me, i am happy to go with few accessories. i wanted this camera as a compact, easy to carry option rather than my olympus E-3 and flash and lenses etc. i think the built in flash will do the job for me. the viewfinder makes the camera too big to fit into the beautiful leica case, so i will not buy it. i also suspect i won't buy a polarizer because i will need an adapter ring as well. too much stuff to carry. Zelig Posted March 30, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 30, 2009 I agree with Lazaruz, VF, beside I don't like flash, with this camera you can ignore the flash... but allways depends on your personal taste and your need.
