Wouldn't that boost the resale prices of existing cameras a lot? I love my MP but I am thinking of getting another one and just putting it away, unboxed, as an investment. peter_n Posted March 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 22, 2009 There is a recent long thread here discussing the discontinuation of film M bodies in which a Leica executive stated that the cameras were "economical" to produce and that Leica had every intention of continuing to sell them. Also I don't think that cameras make a very good investment - too many variables - including the currency you buy them in.
