andalus Posted March 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know what framelines come up when you put a 24/3.8 lens on an .72 MP? I am thinking of getting this lens but forgoing the viewfinder, as that latter seems expensive. Can one go this way with a 24, which I have not owned before. lars_bergquist Posted March 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 22, 2009 On any M but the .62x models you will see the 35 frame, and on all but the .86x cameras and the M8, also the 135. The M8 will show you the 35 and 24mm frames. The old man from the Age of the M
doubice Posted March 22, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 22, 2009 Yes, any 0.72 finder will bring up the 35mm frame. If you are finding the Leica 24mm finder expensive, why not get the Voigtländer 25mm one? Best, Jan
