mjessu Posted March 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone. My father recently gave me a number of older cameras and ask me to sell them and donate a portion of the money to his favorite charity. One of the cameras I reiceved is a Leici DRP Serial Number 529079. It has some slight damage to the front lense (dented metal) but i have a zoom lense for it as well that is not a leica brand but is pristine condition. Besides the damage to the original lense...the unit is in pretty great condition without any other signs of damage or noticable wear. It comes in a leather case and came with a Leica Light meter which is in excellent condition. Before I put this on the market I wanted to understand this item a little more. The info I found at Cameraquest tells me that it is a 1950/51 IIIf. Do you think that I might be able to ask $175 for a unit like this. Would craigslist be a good place? How about any forums that might be good to offer this on? Here are some pictures. leica22.jpg picture by morrisnphoenix - Photobucket leica23.jpg picture by morrisnphoenix - Photobucket leica24.jpg picture by morrisnphoenix - Photobucket leica2.jpg picture by morrisnphoenix - Photobucket Thanks for your input and help
