nedchiu Posted March 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was in Seattle a couple of weeks ago and came upon a Digilux 3 for only $900 at Glazer's. I was very tempted to just pick it up but ended up walking away. The store was not busy, too bad. I over heard a staff person saying its very very slow. I have been muddling over the camera for weeks but decided, for what I use the camera for, my Digilux 2 is more than enough. The Digilux 3 was in great condition and the price was superb. The other reason is that my Canadian dollar is not as strong as last year so the $900 would cost me more. Someone should pick this one up.

rsolomon Posted March 11, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 11, 2009 Nedchiu, i agree with you on the digilux 2 vs Digilux 3 IF you are going to use the kit lens that comes with the Digilux 3, remeber you can use and 4/3rds lens, as well as those lenses that have a 4/3rds adapter. In my case i use R lenses and enjoy using the Digilux 3 - the Digilux 2 is simpley the best all-around P&S in my opinion and it can handle 60-70% of my shooting Rich
