I can't find anything in the manual, maybe I overlooked it... Thanks in advanced, great forum.

elansprint72 Posted March 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 4, 2009 What is an "actuation count"?
RAZOR Posted March 5, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted March 5, 2009 I thought the camera kept an internal log recording how many times the shutter has been activated, as in a total picture count. I am new to all this and trying to learn, maybe I did not using the right term?
ASpes Posted March 5, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 5, 2009 How does one go about finding the actuation count on the Digilux 2? I can't find anything in the manual, maybe I overlooked it... Sorry but I'm not aware of any way to access this info. Guess at Leica they are able to, but afaik it's never been disclosed or even published by a third party. Same applies to the Digilux 3, while for the M8 there is an item in the exif that can be used to show it. Your only option is the picture counter, unless it's been reset of course. Best.
