NZDavid Posted April 1, 2009 Share #41 Posted April 1, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great fun with lens, son, and pizza! I think it's the bokeh which makes this lens special. Similar to the 35 'cron ASPH, definitely not to harsh. By the way, is "analog" what we have to call film these days?
Advertisement Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Hi NZDavid, Take a look here Analog images from the new 24 lux. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
NB23 Posted April 8, 2009 Share #42 Posted April 8, 2009 No nonsense, Please! Do not call film "analog". This is a tremendous error. Besides, what's wrong with one of the language's most beautiful word "Film"??
ejcaliguri@comcast.net Posted April 14, 2009 Share #43 Posted April 14, 2009 Now I can't wait to get the 21 'lux and 18 S E chromes back from processor! I KNOW these lenses MUST BE more telecentric in design; given the shape and ray trace - but that 18 UV/IR ID HARD to FIND!!
Double Negative Posted May 7, 2009 Share #44 Posted May 7, 2009 I already wanted the lens, but now I want the pizza, too! Excellent shots and the lens really draws nicely.

jacarape Posted June 6, 2009 Share #46 Posted June 6, 2009 No nonsense, Please! Do not call film "analog". This is a tremendous error.Besides, what's wrong with one of the language's most beautiful word "Film"?? Yea, this is a pet peeve of mine also. A modern response to the word digital for folks that have no concept of digital, or ever having to add, subtract or multiply in binary, hex or octel. I just grin and bear it. But the real hard thing for me here is I won't live long enough to buy one used.
RITskellar Posted July 13, 2009 Share #47 Posted July 13, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) No nonsense, Please! Do not call film "analog". This is a tremendous error.Besides, what's wrong with one of the language's most beautiful word "Film"?? Well, for the sake of good-spirited argument, you can export digitally created images to film as well as convert a film-captured image to digital, but yet, the only way to take an analog photograph is on film. Thus, in the modern world, where there exists a wide variety of media, processing and capture mechanisms, analog is actually a more specific term when referring to the traditional film camera picture taking process. hoppyman Posted July 13, 2009 Share #48 Posted July 13, 2009 Well for fun.. In fact a digital image is originally analog AND black and white. Then the voodoo starts. Messes with your head doesn't it? Well, for the sake of good-spirited argument, you can export digitally created images to film as well as convert a film-captured image to digital, but yet, the only way to take an analog photograph is on film. wookchang Posted September 8, 2009 Share #52 Posted September 8, 2009 The first Kitchen shot is so lovely. I wish my fifteen year old son will make me a pizza someday. 24 Summilux is on my wish list. Thanks for a lovely shot. Wook
dspeltz Posted September 17, 2009 Share #53 Posted September 17, 2009 I have both 24s and the 1.4 is now on my camera most of the time. The reason is it a perfect street camera. I do not see the problems identified above but again, street stuff isn't about perfection, I guess. The ability to separate focus and out of focus is a winner in my mind. And still small enough to be used on the street.
