david@blumenfeld.com Posted March 1, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 1, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) HEy folks. Thanks for all the tips and advice...I got my new D-Lux 4 a couple weeks ago, and shot an actual assignment with it, which you can see here Growing Apart: Israel's Arabs and Jews | Newsweek International | Newsweek.com The image here, of the Arab guy holding the beads was shot with D-Lux 4 (raw)...I had shot it raw + B/W (and I preferred the black and white-but they wanted the color version, since they had a lot of b/w that issue)... thanks everyone! roguewave Posted March 1, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 1, 2009 David, as per your usual excellence. The extended landscape mode (16:9) is really cool with this camera. Did you use that or it it just the crop in the publication?
Zelig Posted March 2, 2009 Share #5 Posted March 2, 2009 Great David, to see the D-Lux 4 as a near Pro was all I was awaiting when decided, and now with your shoot I see I was wrong, in not a near... it can be a Pro, a perfect, and discret Pro for alltime, all situation.
