I tried mine today and the camera did very strange things. I would get a red number on the LCD starting at around 5 and count down to zero. Then, I'd get the spinning hour glass and it would count down from around 6, and finally the shutter would fire.

I had to take the battery out of my camera to get it to act normally again. Has anyone used one successfully?

thanks

Jerry

Yes. I've used a D-Lux 4 with a PocketWizard Plus II and it works fine. Just make sure you are in M mode and that intelligent ISO (auto ISO) is turned off.

Well, second try was better in that it didn't lock up my camera, but still won't work. I have the older PW, not the PW2s.

On my LCD screen, i have a picture of an external flash with an X through it, so I guess it's telling me it won't work.

So close.....
