uk4242 Posted July 3, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've recently bought a Digilux 2, but the A/V lead was missing. I've obtained a Pananonic lead (K1V204C10001) but it doesn't work. Would someone post or email details of the Leica lead, in particular a picture of the jack plug. Thanks
Advertisement Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Hi uk4242, Take a look here Digilux 2 A/V lead. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
john_r_smith Posted July 3, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 3, 2006 It seems extraordinary that the AV lead should be different from one camera to the other. This makes me wonder just how much else did they change between the two versions. Doesn't the AV lead use the same socket as the remote control? I wonder if this is to prevent Leica owners buying the cheaper Panasonic remote lead - if so, you are a mean-minded lot, Leica Camera AG. uk4242 Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 4, 2006 Thanks for the picture Peter, it is useful. The jack plug on my lead seems to be a little shorter. The pin on the jack plug is 1cm long. I have metered the video output and it's -3.2V. I have tested the output from another digital camera and it's about +1.8V. Any ideas anyone?
