epand56 Posted February 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) This morning i've got the Summicron-C I've bought on eBay as a very good bargain. I'm just in love with this amazing little lens, so sharp and light. The E39 UV/IR filter mounts in a more than acceptable way and the rubber hood is perfect in spite of its age. From now on, I'm sure it will be on my M8 for most of the time. I only miss the front cap. If somebody knows where I can find one, please tell me. Welcome, dear visitor! MPerson Posted February 18, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 18, 2009 Enrico - I got mine from KEH: CL/CLE Lens Caps Hope this doesn't mean the Nokton 40mm is going to gather dust.

russell c. greenberg Posted February 18, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 18, 2009 Enrico, try your local leica dealer to see if he has a used lens cap for your new lens. you could also try contacting polyphoto in Italy for help locating this cap( i believe that polyphoto is the national distrbutor for Leica products in Italy, let me know if this is true.) Hope this helps . Russell P.S. could you translate your quote into English? my French is a bit rusty.

My quote should reads like this: To die for your ideas, it is an excellent idea, I'm almost dead for I did not have it. Ideas is intended for opinions. It is a song by Georges Brassens.
