Somewhere I've read that Leica M7 underexpose of 1/3 stop. I didn't recognize it right now.

kenneth Posted February 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 16, 2009 Does your Leica M6, M7... have some little exposure metering problem?Somewhere I've read that Leica M7 underexpose of 1/3 stop. I didn't recognize it right now. Both of my M6's show identical reading on a given subject. I see no reason why they shouldn't be so, but of course consistency is much more important than accuracy. Once one gets to know ones metering system one can then make the necessary adjustments. I also have a Weston Master V which gives slightly different reading and there again it is consistent so I extrapolate and compensate. I hope this helps
