stunsworth Posted October 22, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Taken from Pont des Arts looking towards Pont Neuf during the day after 'The Challenge'. Stitched together from 5 images taken with my Canon 5D and 50mm Summicron. Next time I'll take the shots later in the day when the sun would be behind me. Here the early afternoon sun is a bit harsh. Advertisement Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here Paris, Seine panorama . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted October 22, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 22, 2006 Steve, this is a fine blend of images and, frankly, had you not explained I would not have guessed your technique. Well done! David
robert_parker Posted October 23, 2006 Share #3 Posted October 23, 2006 An almost alarming effect on the perspective of the image - as David said, (maybe other than the slight sense of flatness of field), you'd never know that this was stiched - did you take all the photos from exactly the same point, or did you move slightly for each ? stunsworth Posted October 23, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted October 23, 2006 David, Robert thanks. I took the shots from the same spot, just swiveled around as I took the shots. I used the Parorama Factory software to create the panorama, this does a great job most of the time.
kld Posted October 24, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 24, 2006 Great work, really a 'cinemascopic' view. Would like to see it printed. -- Klaus
