LeicaMAC Posted February 6, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 6, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Let me start off by saying Hello to everyone. Im a long time lapsed amateur photographer (Canon A1 - Amore!), who has recently purchased a D Lux 4, and so far my affections are growing by the hour. My question is, and please don't flame me for asking about Capture One on a Leica forum, but Im feeling a little lost... Has anyone experienced a failure of Tool functionality (Crop, Rotate, Picker...) when using the Application with their D Lux. The Select, Pan and Zoom work fine, but the others, whilst highlighting (and being able to access their respective fly-out menus) do not. The icon doesnt even change to a cross hairs, or a rotate thingy, or an eye-dropper? In fairness I am trying to resolve this with the guys and gals at Capture One, but Im wondering if it might be to do with some setting on my MacBook, or perhaps its because Im using the USB from my D Lux straight into the Mac? This has occurred on both version 4.1... of the software and 4.6 (as recently updated) and I currently have my licensing option as Activate, as opposed to Try... or Capture One DB. Thank you in advance Baz.

Shootist Posted February 6, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 6, 2009 Phase One offers free upgrades of C1 and the most current version is 4.6. I'd suggest you download the newest version and see if your problems go away.
LeicaMAC Posted February 6, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted February 6, 2009 Thanks for your advice. I actually figured out it was a textbook school boy error. The format of my images wasnt RAW so only limited functionality of the software. Baz.
