Problem with C1 after udate to version 4.6

I recently updated from version 4.0 to version 4.6. Since then the following problem occurs.

 

When starting C1, the program first works fine. However, after I played with a few shots for a while, the picture in the large preview behaves (1) is not sharp when switching to a new shot (i.e., you see pixels even though it is at, say, 50%) and and (2) does not show any modifications I make (such as white balance, exposure etc.) The weird part is that when I go with the cursor into the preview picture and enlarge the picture to, say, 66%, it becomes sharp (no pixels) and shows the changes. But when I then make additional changes, they only show when I change the size again. At the same time the problem with the preview picture occurs, the histogram no longer updates to reflect the changes I made. There is no way I can make it show the changes.

 

If I then close and reopen C1, it will work fine for a couple of shots before showing the same symptoms again.

 

You can imagine that this drives me nuts and that I would be most grateful for any advise.

 

FYI, I am running this on a less than 1 year old Power Mac with 6G RAM and I still have plenty of disc space.

Just in caes others encounter the same problem. I uninstalled C1 and reinstalled it and the problem seems to be solved.

And I'm glad the fix was that simple.
