paga Posted June 16, 2009 Share #1504 Posted June 16, 2009 (edited) Well since you are getting so warm, I guess I have to give you the hint: Rob has the correct architect, but it is not the correct building nor country (it was a trick photo ). Now the photo you goggled Rob looks like the correct kind of building (but it may be the other one in the other country), can you say the name of the city and what that building is on my photo? Now it should be really easy Edited June 16, 2009 by paga
rob_x2004 Posted June 16, 2009 Share #1505 Posted June 16, 2009 Yea the image I goggled there is the extremity of the National Assembly. The only thing I can think of at the moment similar is the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad? But I dont think its got a lake.
paga Posted June 16, 2009 Share #1506 Posted June 16, 2009 Yea the image I goggled there is the extremity of the National Assembly. The only thing I can think of at the moment similar is the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad? But I dont think its got a lake. This is correct... you can find it through Wikipedia under the list of Louis Kahn's buildings and their web site is Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) Yes there is no lake there (which is why I had to edit my previous reply after carefully reviewing your googled photos ). My photo dates from late 2006, taken with my wife's trusted Dlux3 Rob, it's your turn (again?)

paga Posted June 16, 2009 Share #1511 Posted June 16, 2009 I would say it's Ho-Chi-Minh-City True, the locals there would actually say Ho-Chi-Minh-Ville or Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh since 1975 (did I just show my age?)
