vertekijker Posted October 6, 2011 Share #8582 Posted October 6, 2011 That was my intention, Otto, but I know that Frans is too experienced at this game to be caught out. Ken. Thank you Ken, you' re too kind! I did indeed look first into Scottish churches, but this one has a particular recognizable shape and the landscape on the horizon looked different. By the way, this church has an interesting history from what I read, I hope to some day visit there. Ok, my turn. I'm going to look for something challenging, but I'm sure one of you guys will have the answer in no time. ----------- Frans

Dirk Van der Herten Posted October 6, 2011 Share #8588 Posted October 6, 2011 The Talbot House Museum in Poperinge.
vertekijker Posted October 6, 2011 Share #8589 Posted October 6, 2011 Wow! Dirk, I'm very impressed! I didn't give away much with that picture, did I? Did you recognize it from a visit maybe? Talbot House played an important role in the First World War - soldiers from the trench warfare in nearby Ypres could stay in that house for a few days to recover mentally before being sent back to the front. A place well worth visiting if you find yourself in the area. ---------- Frans
Dirk Van der Herten Posted October 6, 2011 Share #8590 Posted October 6, 2011 I've visited Poperinge a few times, Frans, so it wasn't all too difficult. As you know, I never look at the exifs ;-) The answer to the next question is not a location, but the name of a king. Once you arrive at the location, the answer should be easy.
