Here's my "double exposure," two shots in the same picture, side by side. Most definitely an electronically and not a mechanical problem:

 

I have had this(purple half frame) with my DMR as well as the banding. These are almost always associated with a weak battery or a bad connection. Most DMR batteries are getting pretty old and many of my batteries don t hold a charge..so a fresh battery isn t always a solution. Clearing all the contacts thoroughly and buying new batteries seems to work.

 

This also typically happens either at the beginning or after shooting several sequences..both situations that point to the battery or the contacts.
