Joecamera Posted January 29, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Does anyone have a Leica R body flange that I could purchase? (Lens Mount) The other day, to make a long story short, I managed to mount a Leica r 35-70mm Rom lens on a Maxxum 7D body, by rotating the lens body upside down. I managed to get it to fit in the 7D opening, and by carefully holding it on, I made a few shots. They came out SPECTACULAR!!!!!. So, now my intent now is to do some experimenting with an old maxxum body to see what to do to get this to work. If this does work, I'll share whatever I come up with on the Leica forum. If you attempt to try this on a Sony A or maxxum mount, with an R lens, be careful, as it can stick within the mount. So, please, if you have an R flange or broken Leica R body, Please respond! Thanks!!!! Joe

Apparently, this has been done, but only with the non-ROM lenses. N.S. Ng
