A 16mm Elmarit and a 28mm Summilux would fill out the lens line very nicely.
Advertisement Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here Leica 21 lux in stock. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
johnbuckley Posted January 26, 2009 Share #22 Posted January 26, 2009 I had the opportunity to shoot with the first lens in August and September last year. Leica commissioned me to shoot a photo-essay at Goodwood Revival, the weekend before Photokina. At that point it was the only 21mm Summilux but when I delivered it to the show two days later there were two. Brett - I realize you posted this some time ago and may not be checking this thread. However, the photos on your flickr gallery and in LFI are wonderful. Question: did you use a finder? JB
bybrett Posted January 26, 2009 Share #23 Posted January 26, 2009 John - nice to hear, many thanks for your comments. All the Goodwood shots were on M8 and although Stefan Daniel loaned me a 28mm finder I didn't use it. Maybe there are applications where it would be useful... interiors or architectural, but for me it slows things down too much. I've used 21mm before but with film always on M7 0.58. johnbuckley Posted January 26, 2009 Share #24 Posted January 26, 2009 Many thanks for the reply, Brett. I have a 21 on order (through David Farkas, who posted earlier), and am intending on not using the finder, if I can help it. You answered my question and gave me hope. Cheers, JB
