proenca Posted January 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ok this might be a bit basic but... When I import a folder full of photos, when I go to the library and hover around that folder ( or any folder ) , it shows me the first photo in the preview box. Now, lets say that the first photo is crap and I hide it. Problem is still the "cover photo" for that folder. How do I change that ? Anywhere in LR to assign a particular photo as cover of a folder ? Advertisement Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Hi proenca, Take a look here how to change the cover photo of a folder in lightroom. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
archi4 Posted January 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2009 I have tried looking it up in all the LR books I have and found nothing. The only way I can is to move the image I do want to the first position. The only way to make a photo the top one is in a stack. Expand the stack and right click or CTRL click on the number in the top left hand corner of the thumbnail. Sorry I can't be of more help. MV8 Posted January 21, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 21, 2009 If you are using a Mac you can probably copy and paste the icon you want to the Lightroom folder. "command i" for info on file will give you details about file or folder, click on icon and "copy" then go to folder of lightroom that you want to change and "command i" for info on folder click on icon and "paste" I don't use lightroom but I use a Mac and that always seems work.
