afineman Posted January 14, 2009 Share #21 Posted January 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) check this out CustomHotShoe+Web.jpg (image) i had it made from the voigtlander double shoe adapter Michael Bass did the modifications Michael Bass Designs: Misc Custom Connections / Projects The double shoe adapters are harder to find these days but they are out there. Ask around at places that sell voigtlander stuff. PS> I showed it to Leica in NJ and they were very interested in it, perhaps they will make one one day. But then I wonder how expensive it will be. If you prefer, there is also a double shoe that was made for a 645 rangerfinder camera by Bronica. I have one of those shoes that I was thinking of selling because I don't use it anymore - since Michael made the adapter for me. PS> My M8 hotshoe was so tight that it actually broke the shoe off my 28 Leica finder - since then I have tried a multitude of finders and I think the zeiss is the most accurate. Although I am hoping to get one of the new leica finders.
Advertisement Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Hi afineman, Take a look here leica viewfinder 21-28 mm . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
philipir Posted January 14, 2009 Share #22 Posted January 14, 2009 Echo Jaap's words exactly, the foot does work loose which is annoying for a £300 product. I now use a Voigtlander 21mm finder for the 15mm lens and the Voigtlander 28mm finder for the 21mm Elmarit ASPH. SImple, small and cheap
