TimF Posted January 11, 2009 Share #21 Posted January 11, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) and how should they know which filter diameter you need? It took about 30 days to get my filters. I'm in North Carolina. I wonder why they don't just package two filters with each camera? I suppose that supplying dealers (and local distributors obviously) with the filters to hand out in store would be too simple? It took a couple of weeks to get mine from memory, but at least not as long as Leica UK took to turn round the passports.

Laki Posted January 11, 2009 Share #22 Posted January 11, 2009 I suppose that supplying dealers (and local distributors obviously) with the filters to hand out in store would be too simple? lets asume that each m-dealer has 2 m8's in stock and now also 2 m8.2's which makes together 4, so each dealer has to be able to supply for each of those m8's and m8.2's any filtercombination, yeah i guess thats easy to do specially when they have to offer that service for free and leica has to supply each dealer with the right amount of filters...
