moipogi Posted December 30, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 30, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just as the title says. Covered an event for a friend and I noticed belatedly that the Olympus FL36 flash mounted on my Digilux 3 does not activate. Is there a setting I can use? I've activated the AF assist on the camera menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated. . .
Advertisement Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Hi moipogi, Take a look here Does the FL36 AF Assist light work on a digilux 3?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hpu Posted January 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 1, 2009 Me too use the FL36 on Digilux 3. I have not encountered (yet) what you describe. The setting on my FL36 is 99% "FP TTL AUTO FOUR THIRDS". On the camera the settings under CUSTOM are: AF Frame = Center; AF+MF = Off; AF/AE LOCK = On; AF-LED = On; FOCUS PRIORITY = On. Let me know if you have other settings. kzia Posted January 3, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 3, 2009 Yes, it does work. Just tried on my D3. It also turns itself off when I turned the camera off. Hope this helps. -Kelvin
