kamilsukun Posted October 16, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 16, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is this true? Image taken with an M8 appears in the Forum (German) http://www.leica-camera-user.com/landschaft-reise/7319-m8-meets-sonnenuntergang-auf-dem-dachstein.html I don't speak German but the BabelFish AltaVista translation appears as: "Here a picture, made with the M8 at the foot of the roof stone on last Tuesday. BTW, the camera carried one week out long best services without each loss. Even the condensation in the hut after a longer stay in the free one under 0°C got over it without each loss. An uncomplicated camera the much fun makes!" Regards, Kamil Sukun
Advertisement Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Hi kamilsukun, Take a look here An M8 image. Is this true?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
adan Posted October 16, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 16, 2006 This shot was saved-for-web as jpeg, so the EXIF data was eliminated. But there have been several mountaineering shots posted over on the German side that do appear to be legit M8 shots - likely this is from the same guy on the same summit? BTW I thoroughly benefited from your D2 review. I must thank you even if it is quite late. Are you going to review the new Leicas? Which one are you going to start with? Where?
