Richard D Posted December 29, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I'm going nutz trying to find a third-party battery for this camera that comes with a plastic case, like the original. Anybody got a source? Thanks! Rich.

Tenor1 Posted December 31, 2008 Share #3 Posted December 31, 2008 Hi Richard, Glad you found the case. I don't think anybody knew how to help you. My other Leica cameras did not come with a battery case. Happy New Year, Carlos Marques

Happy New Year from Hong Kong Thanks. If you don't mind paying the premium price, the Panasonic and Leica batteries DO come with a plastic carry case. Since I often find myself in situations without AC power for days, I need to carry spares. However, I now have found a few sellers on eBay that have less-expensive batteries that still include carry cases.
