I still have my Summicron 50mm lens which I bought from Frank Foster in 1996. Unfortunately my M6 0.85x classic body, which I got at the same time, was lifted from my possession a couple of years ago. Both were bought mail order with part exchange of a Rolleiflex 2.8GX for which he gave a very decent offer.

An interesting reminder that a number of UK Leica dealers have disappeared in the last 5 years or so for various reasons (retirement, changing market conditions, and possibly more onerous conditions demanded by Leica). Off the top of my head, we've lost Wey Cameras, Kingsley Photographic, Chesham Cameras, Jacobs, Jessops:rolleyes:, a dealer I used to like in Cambridge that also sold hi-fi (not Campkins) and no doubt a few more.

And I believe Park Cameras is also no longer a Leica dealer. Apart from London there isn't a single Leica dealer selling Leica M and S cameras in the whole of South East England.

Come on Leica, fill this black hole.
